Say it isn't so an outfit post.

Here is my thought process yesterday.
Hey I haven't worn this dress in a long time or this jackety thing. That looks quite nice. **time passes** lunch time rolls around and I am alone in the lunch room. Yeah too bad no one saw this outfit today cause it feels great. Maybe I'll take a picture. But how? I don't have that weird iPhone camera prop thing... hrm. What if I stand the ipad up and use photobooth and the front facing camera. Oh yeah that might work. 5 minutes later I am annoyed and realize that it isn't like my Macbook it doesn't have a timer. Spend 5 minutes on the app store looking for a free app with a timer. Find one. Take a half  way decent photo. Try to export it and realize YOU HAVE TO PAY IF YOU WANT TO SAVE WITHOUT A WATERMARK. Damn. This was supposed to be a quick and no stress thing. Take screen shot of it IN the app. Crop a bunch of shit out. Realize the resolution is awful because it's literally a screen shot. Try and blur out the crap in the background to try and make me look more in focus. Get annoyed and decide to make a collage because there are more things to distract from how terrible the photo is of what I once thought was a cute outfit.

eh whatever. Here it is anyways.

My attempt to improve on it.

So how are you today? Any fun plans this week?
I got nothing. Well we are helping my sil move this weekend and she promised there would be lots of candy from the general store near where her and my husband grew up (my meme used to shop at that same store 100 years ago!) There will  probably be Pepsi too because my inlaws are AWESOME LIKE THAT. I don't drink them often but they are my ultimate indulgence. Some people like a glass a wine or a beer. I want a cold cold cold glass of Pepsi.

Recently when I went to my dad's (He gave up Pepsi oh over a decade ago) I opened up his fridge to get some water and I noticed these tiny itty bitty cans in his fridge (ILOVETINYCANS) and I asked his lady person if I could have one because it was weird to see it in their fridge and I didn't know if they were for someone else. She replied "We knew you and Dave would be coming over" Heart exploded! Usually I just would get shit from family (admittedly lady friend would never give anyone a lecture on anything. she is all live and let live) about "do you know how bad that is for you?" yeah my 1-2 Pepsi a week if worse for me than that cigarette you are puffing on dad or that fake sugar you are dumping in your 5th cup of coffee gram. hrm. :P

Wow what a weird topic. Yeah. I haven't had caffeine yet today. Hope you are all well!

I agree, the little cans are adorable. However, I am squarely a Dr. Pepper gal. If I'm going to drink soda, that's my go-to drink.

SO many comments!
a) I love the dress and jackety thing. Love. Wear it every day, or better yet, send it to me, so I can wear it every day.
b) I like the screen shot pic - it's like Discovery channel when you see animals "in their natural habitat" (not that you're an animal, but I hope you get what I mean)
c) TINY CANS! Perfect! It takes me probably 5 hours to finish a full can, if I remember about it. I'm definitely distracted by too many shiny things. If my husband (who has a serious Coke addiction... as in coca-cola) wouldn't double fist them, I'd buy them.
d) I'm with ya! It's about moderation with canned/chemical drinks, but there are so many daily things people do that are so much worse!
e) Hrm is the best phoneme ever.
f)Exciting plans for the week - enjoy my last week of unemployment! Today is playing with niece day. Tomorrow is "get shit done day", Thursday is "coffee with stay at home mommies day" and Friday is "whatever the heck I want to do, whenever I want to do it, you're not the boss of me day". So excited for Friday.

Lol, that was quite a process for the picture! Glad you didn't give up on posting, though, you do look great. The dress is adorable!

Can't believe it's only Tuesday, it feels like at least Thursday. Maybe I've had too much caffeine. I don't know if you've ever had any of the drinks from Bolthouse Farms (they keep them near the produce in my supermarket) I am addicted to the mocha/coffee protein one, though. Soooo delicious. The strawberry/banana and the citrus ones are also amazing.

You are after my own heart. There is nothing in this world quite like an ice cold Pepsi. And don't even try to pass off Coke, either.

I love your photo process. Um, maybe not, but I do like you a lot. If it is a screen cap, couldn't you grab the photo itself? I also dig that purple stuff on your eyelid.

Anyways, those tiny cans are the usual size in South Korea. I was mystified, because if there is a more humid and hot city that needs hydration more than Seoul, I don't know what it is. They simply don't drink. Crazyness!

My plans this weekend are to get Roxie back on her two wheels. I don't think I'll be physically ready to hop on for a while, but I want to be ready when I am!

That's as complicated as my thinking has gotten so far.

LOVE that dress. It's so cute. The colors are so awesome and bright.

I was pretty good up until I fell over. Now my hand hurts and is sending pain tingles down my arm. Ah well. I got a potential offer to do a workshop on how to make buttonflowers for a local boutique business that has started DIY/BYOB nights.

I drink about a coke a day, often just the mini ones (love those!). I have cut down on red meat and added in more fish and vegetables, switched to wheat breads, cut out all faux-sugar, I don't really drink, don't smoke, or any other risky behavior.. but Fuck All, Coke can kill me. I even drink decaf coca-cola (usually), but I decided there are somethings I am not going to fight. You can have all the pepsi though, as a Georgia girl I can't drink it.

@dave77459 it was taken in a free iPad app it wouldn't let me have the photo. I tried saving it but it kept watermarking it because they want you to get the .99 cent app. I was on the iPad the whole time.

I like Pepsi better too. Or, I used to dig RC Cola but I can't find it anymore. I remember long ago having an ice cold one at the Grand Canyon in July, mmmmm. Hansen's makes great diet sodas with no nutrasweet. They do have splenda but I figger in small amounts it probably won't kill me. And it doesn't put me to sleep like real sugar does.
I love that dress!!! It's so perfectly you. And I wouldn't have bought the app either. I can be really stubborn even if it's only over a buck. It is the principle of the matter, lol.
