(my no-see-ums are being seen. Oops.)
Dansko High Heels. I KNOW. The sales lady told me that since they have a wooden heel you are meant to rock in them just like with the clogs. Meaning they should fit a bit loose. Me, I like to obsess over everything and wasn't sure they "fit". Upon wearing them a couple hours now I can tell you that they do. If there wasn't a little space it would make it hard to walk as your foot lifts up when you walk due to immobile sole. Clogs aren't for everyone, I know some hate the sensation/feeling of the rocking. I personally have always loved wood shoes, so does my back. (Ever wear Danskos and you know what I am talking about) My favorite part of them is the back strap.

My camera has been producing blurry pictures for a few weeks (months?) and being as I never assume the easy or obvious I thought my camera was going bad. I thought maybe the focus component was broken and blah blah blah. I also blamed the morning light. This morning Dave suggested the lens was smudged. It was. DOH! I cleaned it once I got to work and hopefully it will be nice and clear for my meet up tonight! Yup. Can't say who but I can that you probably all read this person's blog! I consider them a Fashion Blog celeb. I am pretty darn excited/scared I am terrible at social situations.

My dress is navy and the coat and shoes are brown. Hard to tell with the smudgy lens.

Actual: Dress, shoes, blush, perfume, (go to the counter they are very generous with multiple samples! I have all different kinds by them) makeup spray (this stuff is great! It sets your makeup from melting ALL DAY. seriously) bracelet.

Similar Coat, mine is from Loft. Earrings Tous.

A bonus side of smudged lens though? Look at that soft focus. Ha! My skin looks so smooth.

Double love the dress - I may have to drive across the city to check out if our F21 has it!

I don't like the rocking feeling, I'm certain it will end with me on my face... however, the shoes look wonderful, and if you're complaining about your no-see-ums being seen and it's only that tiny little bit you're very lucky! Mine just move around and surface all day, must try another brand!

You aren't the first one i've heard say that. I find them more stable personally but only cause I am so weeble wobbly. I also grew up wearing wooden shoes so I am totally used to them. I have tried a few kinds of the no seeums and most suck. these are the "low profile" kind with the sticky heel so they "stay put" which means they just move a little bit

I love how clogs look on other people but I felt like
i am wearing a restraining jacket on my feet - when I had a pair... if it makes any sense :)
I like your outdoor pictures, although my faves continue to be those with the books in the back :)

@lorena I like the outdoor ones best too. My husband leaves before me and gets home after me so it usually isn't possible which makes me LE SADS and somehow I can't drag myself to do it when he isn't available.

I don't know how I am going to do the stacks photos anymore. The kids are back and since they took away a lot of study space they seems to have taken over everywhere!

I still am coveting that dress so much. The shoes look great with it! I'm one of those non-clog people (why I can walk in 5" stiletto heels and not platforms or thick heels I don't know)

oooooh there they are! I have been anticipating these shoes' debut for at least a week now :)

first of all... they look fantastic on you! seriously so cute. love the wrap around the back of the heel. and second... are they comfortable? could you spend all day on your feet in them maybe? I'm so not into heels lately because of being on my feet so much at work... but they're danskos so....

I need those shoes STAT! I love wearing my Dansko clogs, but I don't like their appearance (especially with my work clothes). I'm totally in love.

They also look awesome with that dress.

Cute Shoes. I lived in Dansko clogs for 3 years as a resident. Unfortunately I think I fall just between sizes so I had to wear 3 pairs of socks to get them to almost work (and not go flying off when running about the hospital to a code, which unfortunately still happened). I also never really mastered the rocking motion; granted I am not that coordinated but somehow my stomping didn't seem compatible with the shoes.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE Danskos, and live in the pairs that I have. I NEED to look into investing in these. So cute!

This dress is so cute! I just saw the link to you from Kasmira at Whatiwore2day and saw a peak of this great dress and had to come over and check out the entire outfit. I love it!
