Kushyfoot

The people at Kushyfoot contacted me asking if I would like to try their tights. I said yes because it is something I already use. I actually have bought their products in the past and quite liked them. I got the tights and flats for free but was not asked for a favorable review in return. I am happy to say I REALLY like the tights.

The tights I tested were the the Kushyfoot ribbed tights. The tights retail for $24 on their site but it also says you get three pairs per order! The tights are made of microfiber and I tried a size medium. I am a size 8 and 5'3" and they fit perfectly but there is definitely enough stretch for a person taller than me to wear them. The waist band doesn't hurt like so many tights do. It still segmented me a little but it wasn't uncomfortable. The tights have a nice shadow stripe down them and a pretty good opacity. Maybe a 6.5 out of 10 on the opacity scale I just made up. The neat thing about these is they have a "3 dimensional massaging sole". When I first put it on I was dubious. Most tights hurt my feet after a few hours. I haven't had any complaints about these. The massaging is subtle but it feels really good. I would personally purchase more pairs of these. Especially these shadow stripe because it is subtle but adds a fun element to the look.

The other item I tested was the Kushyfoot Flats to Go.

These flats retail for $9.

From their site.

"Soft, flexible faux leather Flats-to-go are an instant and elegant solution to a perennial need for the relief of sore heels, blisters and scrunched up toes. Featuring an elastic back for a better fit, and a unique, 3-dimensional wavy sole that cushions and massages the foot as the wearer walks-perfect for indoors and for any even outdoor surface. They slip neatly and easily into their owner's purse, folded into a cute clear plastic carrier with its own little handles "

They are great emergency shoes. I threw mine in my desk drawer at work and the days I am wearing shoes that hurt I slip them on. I personally would buy them in black because they are a bit showy but that is just a personal preference. They are comfortable and fold up very small for your purse. Now I wouldn't wear them out and about sight seeing but they are perfect for a situation where you are wearing uncomfortable heels and you want a break.

I just wanted to say because it seems a lot of bloggers are bringing it up lately. When approached by companies I am up front with them about if I think something is in line with my site or stuff I would use. If I accept it it is because it is something I would or would like to use and haven't yet. I also sometimes get unsolicited items and they might be a bit different for me but I like to give them an honest review (the winter boots for example. Total surprise). I will always be very clear about what I think because I don't have anything if I don't have my honesty with my readers. Also I don't benefit from you buying the products I review so that is something to keep in mind. (If you do go to Amazon by a link on my site and purchase I do get a tiny kickback. Cents usually)

I would just like to say thank you for reminding me about this brand. The purple tights I wear all the time are from then and I could not for the life of me remember the name! They are pretty comfy...

I have an answer for you! It was merino cool by essie.

All nylons rubbing against my feet just hurts after a few hours and this time it didn't. It isn't even THAT cusiony but its enough to make a difference. I ALWAYS wear socks too but its the nylon against the skin part. No there is no difference other than the amount of stretch and the little cusiony zig zags.

This might be a dumb question, but can I ask how most tights hurt your feet? Do you mean not having cushioning between your feet and your shoes can hurt? I guess I'm trying to figure out if there is a difference between these and regular tights (other than the extra cushy bottoms, of course)

What do the flats look like when on? Does it matter? Just curious.

I have been lemming a pair of those shoes to go. I have been shoving full size flats in my bag for years now. I have to keep getting bigger and bigger purses to keep up with all the stuff I need + extra shoes if I'm wearing heels.

The photo is from december so I am only guessing. I know it isn't demure vixen. I think its Commander in chic by sally hansen. I have everything swatched at home so I can tell you for sure tonight if you'd like!

I'm obsessing about nail polish right now, and the color you're wearing looks a lot like what I'm wearing. What is it? I'm wearing 3 coats (yes 3) of Demure Vixen by Essie.

Thank you for your honesty! It sure does make a difference, especially when it comes to product testing. I am curious about these tights and just might buy some based off of your review.
