I am terrible about checking the weather the night before when I pick out outfits. It was about 30 degrees colder today than yesterday so I had to grab a new outfit. I just dug through the laundry we picked up last night. It is way more casual than I am usually comfortable in but I kinda love it. Many say how jeans and a tshirt is the ultimate in comfort for them but it is the opposite for me. I get so insanely uncomfortable. I think because I get body conscious and fear those types of clothes... ahem add weight to my short frame. Mostly I just don't like how I look in pants. I am insanely uncomfortable in them. Today I wore boots with a bit of a heel and bright red lips which I think helped me feel more comfortable and love what I was wearing

I found a nice little sunbeam to take some pics in today, only because I got up there early, beat the study groups that take over these rooms.

I feel so odd in that photo. I think because I don't usually do a bold eye AND lip. I feel kinda I dunno like I am pushing my boundaries which I think is good for everyone to do once in awhile. Others do it all the time so I don't know why I am so self conscious. It started out with a thin black glitter eyeliner and I kept fussing until it got as thick as it was and I didn't have time to start over. The gloss was a gift and I had to wear it today! (do you get like that with new things? You have to use it or wear it right away?)

I added holographic glitter to the teal nails from yesterday. It is impossible to show how much it sparkles.

What sort of outfit are you totally comfortable in. Not necessarily the one you think you look best in but the one you can wear and not second guess it at all?

For me its a dress with a defined waist and hits just at my knee with boots and a hoodie. I always feel comfortable like that. A bit of definition but hiding the bits I don't like (my thighs) and the length keeps it from shortening me.And while I feel short and squats in flats for some reason flat boots don't feel like that on me that is why they are part of my comfy outfit. That is actually the exact outfit I had laid out for today. Marc dot dress, oxblood colored boots, orange hoodie and brown AA giant scarf

It was absolutely frigid today, I'm glad you bundled up!

Work comfort outfit: t-shirt, cardigan, scarf, dress pants, and Danskos.
Weekend comfort outfit: t-shirt, hoodie, jeans, sneakers (really the dressed down version of the above)

I think the jeans and sweater look great, but I know what you mean abuot having certain things that are just more comfortable. I tend to feel best in leggings, boots, and longer tops. Loving the sparkly nails!

Hillary te ves espectacular !!
(Dude, you look spectacular) - REALLY I love these colors on you, the background pictures and your head shots.
I am usually comfortable in either a black sweat suit I have or a simple dress.
Years ago I would have said jeans, but that has changed now.

kinda. I keep pulling on it honestly

I have a comment about your "defined waist" comfy style. Does the sweater you are wearing give you enough definition in that regard?

BTW, you look wonderful today.

I think you look cute today. I love your makeup. I think the more vibrant make up 'dresses up' the more casual clothes.

I feel most comfortable in something fitted. It doesn't matter if it's a well tailored dress with a belt or jeans with perfect boots. I just love the feeling of well tailored clothes.

Also I love it when I manage to anticipate my outfit to match the weather. I hate getting too warm or too cold.

Annie i wet a eyeshadow. You could get a black glitter eye shadow for a buck and put a dot of water on end of brush and viola! There might be a black in that sephora kit? I could give you little jars of some pigments and play with them as liners. I have some those tiny sample jars somewhere!

Thanks it's one of the traits I'm glad I got from my dad.

My family has done that. My dad doesn't think at all before he speaks. He loves me but he can be critical as hell about my size.

My go to outfit is jeans, a tank and a cardigan. Which is hard in Texas, since it's too hot to wear that 7-8 months of the year. In the summer it's shorts, a tank, and a light weight button down short sleeve shirt. I worked from home, so that's basically my work attire every day.

Your eye color looks amazing in your closeup. My mom has beautiful green eyes, too.

Same here. Unfortunately I wound up with friends who don't think before they speak and unintentionally make me feel bad. Because, you know, it's a good idea to hold up a size 10 dress in a store and talk about the, "whale that would need this size," when someone almost twice that size is right next to you. It kind of puts a damper on my progress and then I feel bad all over again

Sadly I am not comfortable in a lot too. Its an awful trait I would like to lose.

I honestly don't think there is anything I feel completely comfortable in. It's good in a way because there is not much I am afraid to wear any more. If people are going to make commentary about me, it' usually doesn't have anything to do with what I'm wearing but the body underneath it. Since that doesn't change, it doesn't matter what's on top! lol

That said, you looks awesome in this outfit. Not overly casual at all imo. Then again I'm used to people in sweats and flip flops coming to work, both of which I find kind of... yeah.

I LOVE your lipstick. What is it?

My go-to outfit is very similar, but swap out the hoodie for a cardigan. That makes me feel comfy and happy.

You look spectacular today! I love that lip color on you and the eye make-up is perfect. I really love the stripes and the scarf, too. You're beautiful! That picture of you in the sunbeam is simply gorgeous!
