Kate Spade inspired

I really liked how my silver and hot pink leopard manicure came out the other day. It was insanely easy and once I saw this dress at Kate Spade I knew I had to create a design based on it for my nails!

The Mercury Bette dress by Kate Spade is $425. and I could only dream of owning it. (it's about 6 times more than I can spend on a dress) It's darn shame too because it would be cute with my red hair and red lipstick! For now I shall settle for wearing it on my nails!!

To create the look I painted my nails with gold polish.
Once that was dry I stamped a black leopard from Konad plate M57. (to read more about stamping and Konad see my nails resources page which is linked on my site)
I then dotted teal, lilac and red dots on each nail and covered it all with a topcoat of clear.
It all takes longer to describe than do!

What a great job!!! I do wish you a massive discount on this dress once it's on sale - it would look absolutely perfect with the nails. Great idea, too!

Wow, that's a perfect match if I've ever seen one!

I really hope you'll be able to someday own this dress, because I can totally see you wearing it.

(You've just about pushed me over the edge into trying this whole Konad thing too...)

20 minutes including painting the gold and letting it dry.
