Battle you didn't know you were fighting.

I am having a BAD day.
I broke my iPhone last night. BROKE BROKE. Dave spent about 5 hours trying to fix it last night. Watching youtube videos on how to repair iPhones. Going to cost almost as much to repair it to get the new phone.... that comes out in two weeks... that is if you can actually GET one. I am kinda stuck. We don't have old phones but even if we did they weren't AT&T. I don't have a home phone. I gave it up 5 years ago. A coworker has a wicked old AT&T phone she is gonna let me try.
I hate how I look in this dress. urg. My photos just weren't showing me in my best light today. But all that is just the tip of the iceberg. It had nothing to do with the photographer but how I looked in the outfit.

These two aren't too bad

OK just look at the accessories.

This sums up how I am feeling.

Dress Ann Taylor 2007
Shoes Dansko 2009 (but you can still get them here!)
Bracelet gift from Lucky and Ann Taylor Loft
Necklace Avon
Earrings gift
Scarf American Apparel 2009

How are you guys? How was your weekend?

Ours was nice. Friday I came home to a box of cupcakes Dave picked up! He got off early and drove out to Cambridge and got us some! We had Thai food too which I LOVE. I finally got to see the big installation public art piece Dave helped install.

An apology in advance, my commenting and reading blogs is gonna DRASTICALLY go down until I get a new phone. I do 90% of my computing and blog reading and writing on it and comment approving. I also wanted to thank people for being cool with that. I had someone posting comments that kinda made them look bad and I quietly went over to moderation because they wouldn't stop. I am happy to say I have not had a single comment I had to delete since I went over in February and you guys rolled with it and I am thankful for that.

Ooooooh sandal twins! The dress looks fab from the side and the back, in my opinion :) And the strawberry necklace is too freaking cute. And your hair looks amazing!

This weekend was flippin' awesome... HOT weather (a rare occurrence here) which led to lots of sundress wearing and rooftop sitting and pool swimming. Perfect weekend!

Aw Hillary I am sorry you're having such a crappy day! If I can do anything to cheer you up you let me know!

By the way your hair is gorgeous today. And I like your accessories.

This weekend was OK. We didn't do much and tried not to spend too much money because we're moving soon and that is expensive, plus it was rainy so there wasn't much we felt like doing in the first place! We went to the cheapy theaters, played Nintendo, and rode our bikes, and I read a book.

Ugh, I'm sorry you're having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!

The weekend was "eh"! It is far too hot to do ANYTHING right now. We are having 98+ degree weather with a heat index at about 110. The hubs, pups, and I all lounged around all weekend. :)

Phone loss SUCKS! I don't have a landline either and panic when I leave my phone at work or a friend's house. I love your butt bow- those always make me smile, they are so cheery.

Aww sweetie. Well, you look great in the pictures you posted. Especially from the back, he he. Good luck getting the phone stuff worked out. My weekend was excellent. I lounged around and finished reading books 4 and 5 of the Temeraire series. So Good. Especially if you like dragons.

Thanks. I think I just wanted to dislike something that day and the dress was squeezing my chi. I looked it up though and a 6p is a 4 in regular sizes so no wonder I felt tooo fitted. I am an 8!!
