Red she said

Now I could of easily thrown on red belt and red shoes but that is so EXPECTED from me. I love the lack of color. I feel more sophisticated in it. I wore a similar outfit to Tiffany's a few weeks ago because I wanted to look nice and for the most part I felt cute and that people wouldn't treat me like I didn't belong there. (which happens a lot in my life. But I know I do belong!) Oh we bought Wine glasses at Tiffany's for our moms for mother's day. They were soo cute and SO REASONABLE!
Skirt Target 2008
Shirt Ann Taylor Loft 2009
Belt Target 2008

Shoes Nine West 2010. I blogged about these shoes a few weeks ago and how they were flirting with me. Last night while waiting for Dave in the rain I stopped in the store and there they were. On sale and 30% off sale prices! weeee. Get your own pair here. My wooden clog collection will only continue to grow. Luckily everyone else smarted up and now it is a "trend" that just means more readily available to add to my collection! I want to say I have 7 pairs but I think I am forgetting a pair....

I don't think I was slouching. I was about to take my little coat off here.

How is your Thursday going? Are you a people watcher?
My mom and I are such people watchers that we would make an afternoon of it. In highschool when we lived in Miami we would go to the mall get a lemonade and a pretzel and sit and watch people for hours. I love to just sit on a bench with Dave and watch people go by. I like catching those little moments when people don't realize they are in public or just how someone walks.

These shoes look so cute! Unfortunately, I only seem to have trouble with Nine West shoes.. the ones I buy always hurt my feet!

I have the SAME problem with their shoes except for the wood ones. I have had such good luck with my last 3 pairs of wood heeled one I have got from them. But their normal like heels? cant wear em!

I might show up to people watch with you in those exact shoes. I love them so much.

OK, I might just have to pony up for a pair of those shoes. Adorable!

wow. The lack of color is almost shocking, but in a good way. I love it.

funny you should ask this question today. i just put up a post, where i mentioned that i am SUCH a people-watcher! i think it takes one to understand one... people who arent people-watchers just dont seem to get it.

Love the black and white! Such a change from yesterday's happy colors, but great look!

Also love the makeup closeup shot -- very pretty photo!

I am sort of a casual people-watcher: on the bus, in line, at the library, etc., but I don't plan for it. I think I am more of a secret over-hearer, actually -- I love to hear weird snatches of conversation on the bus and try to imagine the stories that go with them.

I gasped a little, you look super fab here !
I think this looks perfect, what a cute belt.
YES, I PEOPLE WATCH and CRITIQUE.
I am trying to hold back but I guess I grew up seeing my family do it so I do it now. But, I am trying to control myself. I am critical on me too.

LOVE the shoes! Here's hoping they might have them after payday. :-)

This is a great outfit...I think it's my favorite one featuring that skirt.

I LOVE this entire outfit so much. I wish I was wearing this today! And I really covet the shoes and might have to go try them on.

So glad you got the shoes, they're awesome!

Fantastic outfit today! I love the black/white/gray color palette. I think we all get too caught up in color sometimes and forget how sophisticated and chic this kind of look can be.

Thursday sucks. Found out my FT job is getting cut back to 30 hr/wk. Not only can my budget NOT handle that, I don't know how I can manage a whole advertising agency in 30 hrs. I have to put in 50 on average as it is. SUCKS

The gray and brown (in the shoebed) accents break up the black/white oh-so chicly! (Is "chicly" a word?) I also like the subtle pattern mixing with the belt.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE people watching. That was probably my favorite part of my trip to Disney last fall. I need to plan a people watching date for me and Beefy. (Sometimes I insist we get to the movies early just so that we can look at the peeps in the lobby.)

I am in love with those shoes! The whole ensemble really, but the shoes make me go "eeeee!".

In other news today I'm wearing MAC lipstick in Rebel after seeing you wear it!

Finally... I love people watching, especially at air ports and in Las Vegas. People are nuts.

Oh, I am SUCH a people-watcher! It is my fave thing to do, and the sole reason that I love airports and malls.

And I love the neutral styling of this outfit!!
