The not so gentle art of distraction

If I give you a ton of details maybe you won't even notice the lack of real outfit photo. (I see a BIG flaw in that plan. I just told you. damn! I would make a terrible spy)

And now a review.

this one
American Apparel Nail Laquer in L'Esprit. This is another one of the 3 Dave picked up in store that are 3 for $15 or $6 a piece. This color in particular is part of their new summer line. (along with Butter, Summer Peach, Malibu Green and California Trooper) I have professed my love for periwinkle on many a occasion. This one is a bit leaning more to the lavender side but I don't care the color is GORGEOUS. It like Butter is opaque in two coat. It goes on a tish goopy but it wasn't anything a coat of Seche Vite top coat didn't fix. I really love the lack of shimmer too. Lack of shimmer makes it less forgiving in the looks department but I really dig the solid color look. I will get more colors from them. They also work good for stamping with a Konad. They tend to have colors that you can't find other places.

What fun bright colors. And you came within half a shoe of a full outfit photo. Well done!

I love the painted bobby pins! The yellow is such a pretty splash of color against your hair. You just use nail polish, right? I may have to make me some of those this weekend. :-)

I love the Liberty of London prints. I was so mad that the shirts fit me perfectly EXCEPT where they come down around the hips. I am just too hippy. :-( I am probably going to resort to buying the bedding instead now that it is on clearance.

I really love the Liberty of London line...I want some, but I don't think they make it in my size (yet.)

Love the nail polish...I need to see butter...going back to look right now.

Shut up! I stumbled into American Apparel the other day, saw that exact nail polish, and thus began my lust for it. Thank you for the review. There's something about the matte thick pastel colors that I'm really liking.
