Best part of blogging and a "MUST READ" blog!

Over on my "ask me anything" page someone asked me what my favorite part of blogging was.

The people of course!

I see Flickr and blogging as going hand and hand. Maybe because I used my Flickr as a blog until I had to LOCK IT DOWN because some people couldn't behave. I have met some of the most amazing people doing this. (I even met 4 in real life! 3 went well! ha)

Steve is one the people I met I "think" through Wardrobe Remix. (Right? On mimi's pic abouts Nov 2007?) He is a Brit whose humor will literally make you sides hurt from laughter. I am lucky to call him a really great friend of Dave and myself. Steve was in a terrible accident about 7 years ago that has left him severely disabled. He is writing a book about his experience and the subsequent year he was in the hospital. He is keeping a blog with excepts of the book. It's called Get Well Soon and I simply insist you check it out. INSIST! what are you doing still reading this? Go now! You won't be sorry. His writing is, well... I can't do it justice. I will say he reminds me of a better version of Douglas Coupland with his witty internal banter. I aspire to write half as well as he does.

Also when we are really lucky he posts a remix photo over on his Flickr. He has even done a little modeling.

I have toyed with the idea of featuring people you should check out because "I think-they-are-awesome-and-that-is-all-that-matters." What ya think?

and I promise Steve I will be better about my could of, would of, should of usage.

Steve is fabulous and totally deserves a shout out on your blog. I love Brit humor in general, and his is very funny!

Wow! Gosh, er, crikey.

Sorry, came over all Hugh Grant there.

Well. I'm totally moved and touched and all that sort of thing. You're right, I think it was Mimi's "Girl going to work in an office" sweater picture, where we first met.

With luck I'll get out tomorrow and write more...
