Yes I do infact love this dress.

Dress Gap 2008 (might be 07)
Necklace and earrings Subversive line for Target (2007)
Shoes LIz Claiborne (2004)
Cami Cami too (yesterday)

This is a fake cami! its genius.

I have been "shopping my closet" (can I say I hate that term) for a few months now and really halted the purchasing of clothes. I have only added a few investment pieces and filled in a few things I needed the past few months. (plain t-shirts and camis)

Its funny though because I know some people think I am always wearing something new. The things they always think are new I have usually worn half a dozen times and photographed too. I just like mixing up how I wear things. Sometimes I wear it exactly the same way. The reason I feel in love with this dress though is how simple it is and retro cut and it lets me go nuts with necklaces.

Now that I said I haven't bought many things lately.... I got a coat last night. Its from the Cirque 21 line. It is absolutly amazing. It is a retro cut, empire waist ruffle tucked collar and a heart satin lining. The best part? A giant industrial zipper up the back. Its retro but with a really modern twist. I can't wait to wear it. I tweeted to mother nature last night saying if she cooled it down I wouldn't use aerosols. We shall see huh? It's in the 90s right now. But its New England it will change without warning and snow in a week.

What are you desperately wanting to wear right now that the temps won't allow?

I LOVE this dress...It's so versatile!

What do I want to wear now that I can't? Coats...this is sad but true.

Last season my coats were tight so I sort of couldn't button the last button. Now that I've lost almost 40 pounds they're kind of big..and they look normal.

I can't believe I'm actually telling someone this, but it's really, really exciting..bring on the wool..

This new pair of leopard print leather pumps I have. Foot sweat = nasty.

That dress is a really great piece to have in your wardrobe! I love the various ways you've accessorized it so it's always exciting and new.

Lisa I want to wear my giraffe print pumps!

mrs.b thanks

kenz no embarrassed thats bad ass! I know kinda how you feel I lost 30 lbs on WW in 06-07 and nothing is better than buttoning something that didn't previously button. I have maintained my almost exact to a 2 lbs weight since June 2007.

I'm really dying to buy about five of those argyle sweater vests and cardigans they have at Old Navy right now and wear the sh*t out of them all Fall.

Also, last season, American Eagle (of all places) had this adorable double breasted sweater pea coat I really wanted and waited too long to buy. INC also had a double breasted pea coat that was fleece/sweatshirt material. I'm going to be on the look-out for similar sweaters this year and just grab them instead of waiting for a sale. Both of those last winter I waited for a sale and OF COURSE they ended up having them only in XS and XXL. PFFT.

Like this dress... it seems to be one of those "I feel pretty" garments !
I wish I could wear clothes from different seasons, but I have to live with rainy and sunny as my "seasons".

Beautiful suede boots that I bought at the beginning of the summer and have never worn. Also my cardigans. Here in Florida we won't see a cool day until November...
