Dressing for kitten attacks

Today we are going to see our surrogate to see our new little girl again. We can't take her home for another 2.5 weeks still. Yes I am talking about a cat. I was warned the 8 kittens like to climb peoples legs so I wore jeans to save myself from tiny needle claws. Nothing in the world is cuter than a pile of 8 tiny kittens. I can't even tell you how cute they are. Which one we are taking home is not set in stone but we do have our eye on one and the owner is in agreement. (I just don't want to set my heart on one just in case) But we will be taking home a girl. The above photo is the last time we went to see them. I am holding Holly the runt of the litter.
This is the one I have my eye on.

On with the show! Enough kittens lets talk clothing!

I left the cardigan open to see my awesome anna shirt. It has smocking along top. Again its a trapeze type and I feel self conscious so I have cardigan buttoned most of day
Shirt and pink tank H&M
Jeans Banana Republic
Shoes Marc Jacobs (76% off!)
Watch Kenneth Cole
Earrings vendor at SOWA
Necklace Mark by Avon

We have been a little giddy over the kitten. We have one cat now which was a first for both of us and she pretty much has us wrapped around her tail. We got her as a small adult cat so we missed out on the kitten time. We have had a million conversations about what would the kitten be doing now. Will she get along with Daisyboo?

Do you have any pets? What do you have and what are their names?
If you don't like cats, don't bother commenting as such OK? Thanks!

I figured out the posting issue! Google chrome and blogger are not buds when it comes to editing the HTML in blogger. Yeah! So glad its fixed. My inner Libra was very annoyed with all the mismatched fonts.

Eee! I am hyperventilating from all the cuteness! Hooray for kittens!!

We have two cats: Stella and Omar. Stella was named for Stella Artois (yep- beer) and Omar for the character of the same name on "The Wire."

That kitten is adorable and I hope you get her for sure. My parents just have one dog (I can't have any pets in my current apartment) so I've never had an experience with more than one. I'm sure DaisyBoo will adjust and continue to rule the roost!

I've never had a kitten either - I got my cat when she was about 1 year old. My boyfriend and I now live together and have 3 cats among us: Mony, Penny, and Siouxsie.

We love them but man, it's like having kids sometimes!

KITTENS!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!! I love them, love them, love them!

I am kind of a crazy pet lady. I had two kitties, Paige and Grace, and when I moved in with my boyfriend I got a dog of my own named Winston. BF also has a dog named Homer (not Simpson).

Two cats and two dogs! All have been rescued from various places. Love, love, love. :)

I'm so happy for you! The kitty is SUCH a cutie! She'll bring you tons of joy, I'm sure.

I have a yorkie that lives with my parents in Florida (my NYC apartment doesn't allow pets. Her name is Little Bit, but only because that's the name she came with from the Humane Society. She's the most chill yorkie I've ever met. Not barky and all that nonsense. I went through a bunch of hampsters when I was younger, the most noteworthy names being, Nicodemus, Calpernia, and Thumbelina. :)

OmG, those kittens are adorable. My neighborhood is stray cat heaven. Before I got my little Patches (who is now 5 years old), I would put out dishes of food and styofoam coolers as housing on my porch for the cats. I'd come home and there would be a slew of cats waiting for me. Quite adorable. They'd run from my husband though. lol.

I rescued Patches and 3 of her brothers. I found them eating out of a trash can, and they were approximately 5.5 weeks old. I couldn't catch the other two. I cared for them for a week until I adopted out 3 of them. Patches chose me. I would sit in the room so they'd get used to being around humans, and Patches was the first one to climb up my leg. She would climb up to my shoulder, nibble on my ear, and fall asleep on my shoulder. She was so tiny. Now she's a big ol' calico who likes to sleep on my chest but she hates my loud children. lol.

(Sorry, that was a bit of a kitten rant.)

Girl these colors are all you! You look radiant!

I am so happy as you near the kitten ETA. They are all so cute it makes me wanna punch something ( which means j can't take the preciousness)!

Nick and I have The Egg, AKA Grand Manipulator. I had a cat growing up named Smokey. I want to get a pup, but we travel too much and the expense of owning a dog is too great.

I can't wait to see who will go home with you!

Kittens make me go all funny in the head- I just want to snuggle and kiss them! Puppies too (and puppy breath is so sweet! Not to be confused with adult dog breath at all)
I have only three cats right now (my mother is up to 8)
One of my cats is 16, the Princess (her title, not her name, one is 12, and one is only 6 and pretty darn fat. We lost a 17 yr old cat to cancer a couple of years ago. His name was Bo. We also have dogs and rats. Yep, I get dibs on the Noah gig if it comes up I think.
Best wishes for your new baby!
My children
Cats: Shadow, Pumpkin, Georgie
Dogs: Winnie and Samwise
Rats: Winkin, Blinkin, and Nod

Kitties! Awwww.

I have two fur babies. Simon is a 9 year old tuxedo kitty with gender issues. She's a girl with a boy's name. Oops. Boris is a 3 year old Boxer. He rocks!

Both my husband and I are kitty people. We started with one each, but when we moved into our house there were 'neighborhood' cats. Two of them are now ours. Total cat tally = 4. sheesh.

names:
Poquito (started out so small, and now is a chubchub),
Baby,
Borris aka bobo b/c he is a little dim-witted sometimes, and
Archie who looks a lot like kitties you're looking at.

So its pretty must a deal we are getting the striped one! I will announce her full name once we get her!

dana my parents had a boy and a girl cockateals (sp) and they were tweety boy and tweety boy guess who was named what! Talk about complex!

BAM my heart would explode coming home to 4 kittens. I am SO going to be a cat lady in puffy paint sweaters with cats on them

lemondrop. Can I move in? I'd love all the animal commotion!

anna we too decided a pup didn't fit into our lifestyle. The cat is SO easy. Daisy is so chill I want to meet a naughty cat just for a day.

bridgett I have the same affliction. I am annoying because I share 283e9123 pics of cute things in my rss feeds!

brooklyn there is never a rant when it comes to kittens! never!

heather we can't have pets either. We sweet talked the landlord because he had a signpaper work when we adoopted daisyboo! He said yeah cats are ok! The kitten is a private adoption so its ok.

thank you so much everyone with your comments on pets! I think animals enrich our lives. Mine has for sure.
